| Question about motor and esc
I am building my mini crawler from scratch and I am at the point to start looking at esc and motors, I have a castle cm- 2068 and mamba 25 esc laying around that I used for an older car. Does anyone know if that would be ok to use on my crawler or would it be too much power. Thanks

Keep the 25 esc and get yourself a good handwound motor You will be more pleased with a brush motor imo. |

The ESC is a great choice as it has nice small footprint and if you download the latest software you can get crawler brake and set it to run with brushed motors. As for motors - there are many brushed choices out there. Many run stock Losi motors (sliders etc) others are running Contraband or Holmes Hobbies and everything inbetween. | |

I dont have my MRC right now. It will be here tomorrow. I got the stock MRC motor coming and will be running it with a Tekin BoneR. I will tell you my opinion as soon as I get it all wired and setup. |
