| Dr.Frank's spare part budget Pro build
Hello, after selling my BJ MRC i feel a bit empty without an 1.9. But Losi lowers the price for the MRC Pro in Germany too, so i'd took a deep look inside my MRC spare part box and put it all together: MRC Pro Roller CC Micro Sidewinder ESC Thunder Tiger DS1015 Servo (strong and quick as hell ) LRP 6V/5A BEC LRP 2S/900mAh/25C Battery LRP Zenit 370 (..waiting for the lil Broodster to come) LRP C3 F.H.S.S RX contolled over a Sanwa MT4 (works great with the Berg) ...i know, the body ist too short now, but i don't care for it, it's just for practicing... ...i put the battery on the opposite side of the motor, it's an old "Bender" trick (as far as i remember) and helps to get torque twist under control... ...the DS1015 sits on a GC3 servo/link plate... ...70g (2.5 oz.) brass rings in each front whell and 35g inside the rears... ...quick and easy made wheel weights for the MRC Pro rims... ...the lil Zenit works super smooth with CC MSW... ...out boarding the shocks is quite easy, i just use some Losi MRC spare balls... ... i put some "standard" MRC hexes at the rear, so it's a bit narrower... ...bend the rear lowers a bit, works great for me... ...as you can see, perfect weight balance between motor and batterie... Springs are Associated MT18 rears (silver in the front and blue in the rear). I run 8mm inner limiters all around, 3 hole pistons for the front with 30WT oil and 1 and 2 hole pistons in the rear with 50WT oil in the 1 holed left shock and 30WT oil in the 2 holed right one. Torque twist goes down to "not noticeable" and the Losi Claws work fine for me. Greetings Frank |

You have alot of great ideas in your build that I plan to do with the Mini Pro I just got Wed. Battery location, wheel weight, internal shock limiters, etc... I also like the electronics plate you did. Great build. Thanks! |
