I bought a set of losi aluminum adjustable shocks with coils on them today and installed them. when I run my bigger tires, I want to lower my ride height so I adjusted them all the way to the caps, but the coils are to short and the chassis isn't supported right and haves goofy handling quirks, are there longer springs out there to put on these shocks or spacers that can go on the lower spring seats?

Spacers are what you need I think. Cant remember the place that sells them though. |

As redemon mentioned, you need to put spacers inside your shocks....around the shaft and under the piston. This will limit the downtravel.

you can use nitro fuel tubing for limiters inside the shocks under the shock piston which works great and its super cheap.

before I liited them with tubing/spacers...I would adjust the nut down just enough that it seats the spring....and see if you like that. I was good to go like that with 15 wgt oil all around. |

How will limiting travel lower his ride height or solve quirky handling issues? Not saying it won't, just trying to understand how. It seems like the only thing limiting travel does is, well, limit the travel.

| If the spacer is inside the shock (between the piston and the cap the shock shaft goes through) it pulls the chassis down by however long the spacers are. This lowers the CG as well. Also, it reduces the amount of shock travel, thus articulation.
