Default MRC pro lipo

I want to run a lipo up front on my pro that has just been ordered. Anyone have any other similar options to the 600mah overpriced Losi lipo that drops right in there.

I don't want to have to move everything around to cram some maxamps 800mah batts Ive already got.

Is the Losi battery the only thing out there in that nice little square shape???

A number of us are running a 2S 325mah LiPO from CheapBatteryPacks.com
It's tiny and can do 2 comp courses, but we all have 3 packs so we only do a single course per pack.

I fit a 2S Nano-Tech 800 or G-Force 800 (both 25 to 35C) on the front upper links. Weight is forward and doesn't impede the suspension at all. Once I moved the battery there I centered the servo and gained turning radius since the tires no longer hit the servo or battery.

I'm currently running the esc and and RX on the links on my MRC tuber right now but I was hoping to avoid that with the Pro. How are you mounting the batt to the front uppers?

Make a mounting tray out of scrap lexan, zip tie the plate to the links, add a little Velcro... All set

Don't feel like you have to run them on the front, you can run batteries on the rear with no negative effects. They weigh almost nothing and this can be a substitute for additional rear wheel weights.

I liked how it balanced the motor, but felt it was just too heavy and I really didn't need 45+ minutes of run time. The Gens Ace packs are almost half the weight.

I ran it a little bit last night, and they were great. I couldn't believe how cheap they were...I think $3.25 each? That's probably why I bought 4 instead of 2

Do these packs have a balance tap that works with the Hyperion chargers tap? I've got the balance board for 2s-6s packs.
