Default Just ordered my pro roller....

Hey just ordered a Pro Roller because of the Ultimate hobbies Price. I sold all my 1/10th scale stuff a few months back. I am thinking of doing a trail rig you know for mud and stuff. Anyway I have a 1/16th traxxas Brushless system lying around from a mini slash. 2 questions:

1.) think it will fit??

2.) is the Tranny and Diff gear ratio's on the pro roller set up just for slow speeds?

Thanx for any help

1-It should fit (a 10th scale ESC can fit.......)
2-You need to drop pinion teeth to get in a better rig speed range.

It is the 1/16 Brushless so the esc is Small anyway. I just was not sure if the motor was going to be too much for the gears. THANX!

So, you have a 380 motor, it "may" be a bit long. Since you have it, try it out.

Ahh crap . The can length on my motor is 1 7/8" Long. So I am assuming the gears are good to go for brushless?

I tried to fit my 1/16th vxl system in my pro roller.
It will not fit. It will require you to cut some of the chassis away.

How much cutting needs to be done? 1/4" more or less? Its gonna be a few days before I get mine trying to figure it out. Are there any other brushless motors that work with the 1/16th VXL esc? Thanx

Well just thinking if my VXL system does not fit, what system I should get. I am not competing with this rig, just bashing. It would be nice to have drag brake sometimes and I think it would be nice to switch from brushed and brushless. Whats a good esc/motor combo for bashing??? any thoughts????

Right now I have a LOSB1089...not sure if this is the slider motor. Its not bad. Only ran it a few times. Got a Venom on the way. Plus got a Novak Mongoose System in a trade and a HH Torque Master. But I am looking for speed. Need to figure out a tranny swap 1st..............
