| Drect fit Nimh batts with good run times
Im looking for a pack thats better then the stock pack but I dont have the money to go lipo. < Becasue of charger cost) I have found some rs4 packs that have a larger MAh to get the truck better run time but there appears to be no way to afix them with out serious modification and im very new to the hobby. If the only way is make a custom battery id understand but im looking to just charge plug and go. I did use the search didnt find exactly what i was looking for. I found great info on lipos if only i could afford a good charger lol there more then a truck :-)

The AC6 or AC680 chargers are ~$50 if that helps. These are the most common. Then 800mah lipo packs are $5 and will get you about 30 min of run time.

Go here: http://hobbyking.com/ order a budget friendly charger and some batteries. You can do the whole thing on less than 50 bucks and will have better run times and better weight distribution. |

The Battery Mans Lipo article has me paranoid about anything not top of the line when it comes to lipos. But hey il give it a shot maybe it will be the end of the stock battery insanity.

I have been using " Cheap China" lipos for the MRC with no issues. I have Gforce 800 mAh 2s and they work great. I have been using them for 2 seasons now. I comp and practice with them and can get about 20 min out of them. If you don't have a star buy one and check out the for sale section, chargers are always popping up.
