This one appears to be 8.5, that's why I mentioned it. |

Small update: Got my Radio GT3B from Losikid with it already HACKed... Also got the Holmes Motor and Stock ESC installed. Got everything wired up and tested it on the Floor. Steering isn't set up yet. So I didn't get to test to much... I can already tell this set up is mush smoother running then my last MRC with the Monogoose Brushless system. It always seemed jumpy to me. This set up is way better.. Going to try and get the body painted tomorrow and the steering figured out. |

Ran it today with no castle BEC... Ran fine and climbs good. But the Servo Sucks.. Wouldn't turn unless I was on the throttle a little. Think I'm going to try a Hitec HS-7940TH 6v........................7.4v Speed: 0.07 sec...................0.06 sec Torque: 181 oz/in...................222 oz/in |

| I have a 5955 on my daughters MRC and at at 6 volt it's plenty fast. Personally, I run at the minimum a JR 9100t on my mini. I was running a 8711HV on it, but I couldn't get enough run time out of my TP 325mah batteries. I know some people want the smaller size. I want to be able to steer no matter what.

Neither is a bad choice. You have your ideal servo, I have mine. At the end of the day, if it makes you happy it's all good. For a go fast, speed has more importance, in a crawler, I doubt I would see/feel the difference. | |

| The reason I want speed is for wiggling the front around. Since these don't have Digs. A fast wiggling of the Servo can move you around pretty good. With 220oz of Torque I think it can still steer a 1.9'er around just fine. There are a few running the Fub. Low Profile and it doesn't even have 130oz of torque.

Forgot to add the info on the wheels... The Front Wheels are Alumn. Hot-Racing Wheels. They have a little more offset then the stock wheels. So I had to remove the 5mm Wideners. The Rear wheels are the stock plastic ones painted black. I did this to keep the weight more forward. If I put the Alumn wheels on the rear. I would have to add weigth to the front wheels. Which adds more stress to the CVD's and robs power... I'll try this set up for a while and see how it works out for me. |
