Mini juice is crying our for Mini-T springs!

They work REALLY well on the mini juice, use the softest (Pink) up front, a red (medium) on the rear right, and an orange (firm) on the rear left (to minimise any sneaky torque twist that may remain).

This will soften up the suspension lots, really allowing the rog to flow over rocks - just make sure you use about 45w shock oil - too light and they become aweful, too heavy and the rig will be very slow to respond to terrain.
Worked for me on my mini juice,

How does that spring set up work with a stock Pro frame set up? Any thoughts?

Overall, on almost any setup, a soft in front, and medium in rear will be a good setup IMO.

Just start with Rubbaneck's setup if you want a good starting point.

Overkill...? Naah... just right! 222 oz. @ 7.4, @ .06 seconds, i'd say thats about perfect for it... but, speaking of overkill, the JR 8711HV i had on it 1st was a bit much... it killed my B1-R, so i had to send it to tekin for a replacement... learned my lesson on that one...

this servo nearly killed the Mini...

I am really digging your rig and the mini bj has me itching for one so bad. Then I remember how well my BWD wedge drives and I lay awake at night fighting with my self. Anyway. The reason for my response is this. You gotta do me a flavor and get that rx off the roof of that car! COG baby. If you pulled it out of the case, shrink wrapped it and popped it under the rear uppers you might find it works pretty well. Another idea is the non motor side of the tranny between the lexan and the drive shaft in the back. This should get you some weight savings and get your stuff lower. You might even be able to skin your esc too and get it a little smaller and a little lighter.

Just thinking out loud with you! Very cool build regardless. Nice work.

right on, thats definitely my next step on the mini... im just struggling for battery placement on this little thing, the smallest packs i've got are the genace 450 mah 3s lipos, and they really dont fit well anywhere on here, except the rear upper link tray, or on the rear lower link mount tray, which is why the rx is still on the roof... any suggestions on batterys that will fit better?

I just went to 2s on a 16t motor so I could ditch the BEC and run my servo straight off the battery. The 325 65c thunderpower packs are impressive and small as all get out. I might suggest trying something like that. You will need the right motor though.

im # 5 on the list for the last 10 contrabands, , so i think ill have the motor department taken care of by the end of the month...

i got the HH mini torquemaster right now, and its definitely no slouch, even on 2s..., but couldn't resist the last chance to get one of those 17T monsters...

Those look really nice. What is your final height measurement on them?

more than i bargained for... this was my 1st attempt, so i didn't really have much but RCC to go off of... i used one complete tread section(4 single rows of tread) but i think it was a bit much, i was just trying to get a uniform tire... i'm guessing that 3 rows would have been a lil better for overall size... i was lookin for around 4" or so... but these are barely legal... literally, 4.24" my bad...... good practice tho i guess, for the next set...

this is how much i added...

and this is where we ended up... whoops...
