Default My wifes Mrc pro

well its time that my wife joined our club officially and started crawling with the big boys so i got her her own 1.9 to get the ship sailing. so far its pretty stock just other than a few mandatory upgrades. this will be her first crawling and its her very first paint job ever. she did a great job on it othere than a few lil bleed throughs but its nothing to bad.

as it sits now

Electronics

Novak mongoose
hobby partz full size servo
(soon to be a hitec 5955)
soon to have a cc bec


Wheels/Tires

red dot rovers
weight stock pro wheels
(soon to have bwd vertexs) in two weeks
memory foam rears
stock rover foams in the front

Suspension

stock threaded shocks
CrawlHers custom shock juice
installing bent rear lowers tonight

well nuff yacking and onto the pics

right after paint



on her maiden voyage

LOL shes crazy. my mini just quit working once we started crawling yesterday cuz it was scared. so i had to bust out the big guns and run her over to teach her a lesson ha ha ha

If i were you, id go look in the garage and make sure the XR didnt crawl away from her mini! Seems super scary to even get near her rig.

Yea chris she's really diggin it and she keeps hounding me to take her out to practice. Next up is her xr10. She should have it ready to competet by next months comp.all that's left is electronics. Did you happen to have any 2.2 wheels?

No 2.2 wheels for the XR, but the 1.9 BWD's are gonna look good on there. Now get her out and practice before the next comp! Tell her she's gonna judge also!

We have been practicing all weekend. Yea those wheels I think will look killer on there with her paint colors. She's gotta learn how to judge so she definitly doin that lol

Looks good Gilbert, You know whats funny is I almost did the white and red paint job exactly like that one

How does that servo work? and are you running 2s or 3s? I'm trying to decide if I should run a bec or not....

shes running 2s lipos and the paint is actually pink not red lol. so far the servo works pretty dang good for being 11 bucks. i wanna hook it up to a bec and see what happens.

the wife painted the body i just gave her some helpful tips when masking it off.

ohh it looked kinda red to me. What servo do u have in urs and how does it compare? I need a new servo, im using the stock one from my losi night crawler until I can get a better one.

I don't blame her, the XR-10 is awesome! I ordered up the new BWD XR-Mantis chassis and bodiless topper tonight to replace my bodied XR-Wedge.

i want that chassis for my xr. shes running a custom cut in titanium bjv4 chassis. all i need to finish her truck is a servo and 2 esc's. and some tuning once it hits the rocks. are the mantis chassis's up for sale already?

Yeah, they're up for sale. I think they hit the Billet-Works' website yesterday around noon. They start shipping out tomorrow, Aug 10.
