Default Motor question

Im looking at getting a motor and ESC for my MRC pro. Will be going into 1.9 class as well as 2.2 pro again next season and am not sure what to get.

Am looking at these 2 more than others.
Novak mongoose motor combo
And
CC 1/18 sidewinder and 18t anarchy brood motor.

Basically looking at pros and cons or other suggestions.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Jake

I'd say brushed, go for the brood then let us know how that motor seems for power and torque. I haven't seen any reviews on the brood yet

If all the Contraband's are gone then I am completely with Jeremy. The Broods are about the only serious game in town right now and the micro sidewinder is just awesomely small.

IMO the mongoose is a great system, especially for someone getting started. But the performance of the drag brake of the mongoose leaves much to be desired, especially for an experianced driver IMO.

Of the 2,the anarchy with any quality esc would be a better performer on the rocks.

Thanks rock. I'm not technically "getting started". Ran 2.2 pro last season, just never ran 1.9 before.

BTW are there any Contraband motors left?

I noticed it looked like you had been crawling a while, thats why I dont really think the goose will satisfy you.

I do have some contrabands thats will be shipping by months end.
There is no reason not to run a anarchy though, and I believe eddies are ready to ship,so you can get running sooner.
