| 1/18 ESC Issues
So I pulled the truck out of the box. plugged the battery in just to see if it worked, it did, wheels turned and it steered. I unplugged it charged the battery for about 2 and a half hours came back, plugged the battery in and Nothing. Put brand new batteries in the TX and still nothing. When I turn it on the ESC on the bottom of the truck flashes red/orange 3-4 times and then nothing. I tried to rebind it and reset the ESC and still nothing. Just the 3 orange/red flashes when I switch it on. Whats the deal? Something Serious, simple? How do I fix this? |

If steering works, a rebind is not needed. Read the instructions on recalibrating the ESC to the RX, especially setting the throttle trims BEFORE recalibrating. Did you try spinning each axle to make sure they are not jammed? |

if your using stock plugs still, this may be the issue. i had this issue a lot when i used the stock plugs. switched them out and never had an issue. To confirm this, shake the plug around and see if it does go back on. if it does, it is just a cry for a Deans or traxxas plugs. If it doesnt. well, it could be your RX cables are loose. |
