Default stupid .050 screws

so in a recent tear down of my mrc the stubborn little .050 inch screws have given me quite the hassle. now my question to ask is whats the best possible way to get the screws out with out damaging the parts around it? also what size scew should i replace them with i was thinking a screw with a 2mm allen head. if you can help it would be great i would like to continue driving the little bugger but i need to fix this issue first.

I havent had a problem yet using a 1.3mm wrench
But not to say I wont.

Have you tried a standard size allen wrench instead of a metric to see if it fits it better now that its stripped?

You could always use like a dremel and make a slot for a flat head screw driver or see if you can grab the head with a pair of vise grips

i have not tried the metric allen wrench idea but i dont think it will work considering the smallest allen wrench in my house is a 1.5mm. i tried small vise grips and every time i turned them they slipped off and the dremel idea just might work.

One thing ive done before as a last attempt was wrap the end of the allen wrench with teflon tape, it actually worked

As a last resort you could also try super glueing your allen wrench into the screw, kinda ghetto but it may work??

I got a set of super small hex drivers at my lhs. It's a german set that includes 0.7mm, 0.9mm, 1.3m, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm. And they look to be every bit as strong as the Bondhus set I have.
