Default Kyle's Build Thread.

Well this is my first ever RC car/truck. I got a Losi mini crawler RTR.

As of now its completely stock. I bought an extra battery and thats all. I hope to have some big plans for it comming up.

Anyway onto the pictures form day1.

Its here finally!

Very nice looking truck I must say.

Was messing around taking the wheels off while waiting for the battery to charge.

.

Should be placing an order for some hop-up parts tomorrow!

looking good kwonchoba!

you may want to look at lowering your electronics it helps reduce your COG, and be able to do more crazy obstacles.

Not really, its pretty straight forward from there.. As for electronics you just want to build a plate on the 3-link, and zip tie it on. Use velcro to hold electronics down onto the plate. I placed my stock battery on the rear axle.

As for the tubing, it just needs to be big enough to fit the shaft, but smaller diameter than the shock body.

looking at ordering 2 rcbros 4 link mounts. i am going to use one on the front and then the use the same front one with the servo mount on the back but trim it up to make it with out the servo mount . also getting the rcbros steering link.

going to be making my own 4 link bars and then having to make chassis spacers out of some 4-40 rod.
