Default BWD's New MRC Bomb Proof Shock/Lower Link Axle Mounts

Just a lil something I've been working on to beef up my MRC axles...so I thought I'd share what I came up with.

These are machined from 1/4" delrin and should come in two versions. One for the alum C's/Lockouts, the other for the stock C's/Lockouts. They are a press fit and locate on the top and bottom C/Lockout screws. I'm waiting on my proper hardware to arrive so I can ditch the capped head screws. They are drilled for 2mm through but have enough beef/room to allow for 3mm hardware and Pede rod ends on the lower links...no more tiny rod ends for me

Coming soon for those who may want some.

BW

Thanks. You'll lose .1" right under where the C bolts do the axle on the alum C's/lockouts, and .08" at that point on the stock plastic C's/Lockouts. I'll try to dig up some front/rear shots to show the GC. Very little loss for what is gained in strength.

Dude'ola- That chassis looks a little captain kick a%%. I guess the only questions I got before I scrounge up some chaching is is it legal? If I know you Don, and I think I do, you would not produce something unless it was legal but just checking?

Also shifting gears a bit, those side pics really do show how well your wheels really fill out the 1.9 rovers. They look a lot "puffier" than on wider wheels.

Ok, Hang on, One more questions. What shocks are those? They look a bit like traxxas 1/16th scale shocks.

That's just the chassis in the pics above, the near weightless cab will be posted in another thread. It is plenty legal per the current rules. It's my personal comp rig for the new season. The shocks are the 1/16" traxxas shocks.

If you get these, when you take your axle apart, please, do the rest of us a favor and fix that rear ring gear. The incessant clicking has given me a headache at the last few comps.

Are there multiple holes to mount through for those of us who have clocked our C's? Otherwise, the mount would tip back and hang really low and throw the geometry off. I know we can re-drill them, just thought it would be a nice touch if they came for either way.
And that low profile chassis/cab is downright sexy!!!
I haven't even finished my Wedge and Dub topper I just bought from you, and now I think I'm going to have to build another rig!

Great new additions for the MRC. I'm in for a set.
Love the look of the lo-pro chassis but where do the electronics fit!?
Is the aluminium servo plate going to be available as a stand alone?
Thanks for your continued investment and innovation in this class
