Question ? about MRC outboard shock mounting

I have tried searching the forum, but because there are so many good bits of info buried inside build threads or other tech threads whose titles don't accurately describe the contents of the threads, I have been unable to find an answer to my question. What size screws should be used when moving the lower shock mount to the outside of the tabs on the axle housing? The longest M2 screws they had at Hobbyclown were 12mm, and I know those aren't going to fit the bill.

I've used M2 20mm screws. And then I've putted some kind of spacer between the old mounts

Blurry pic sorry :(

I hope this helps

I also used M2 20mm screws. You could probably get away with a 16mm screw as the 20mm protrudes a bit.
