I copied over the first post from another forum. Here are some pics of what I have so far. I looked around and copied a lot of ideas from some of the top rigs out there. You know what they say, copying others work is the highest form of flattery.

This is very true! Its nice to have this many rigs in one place to be able to pick and choose things that you like off of each one and make it your own. no point in re-inventing the wheel.

rig is looking great up to this point.

I let my wife pick the colors and name the trucks. She wanted a blue one this time. The first thing that came to mind was the Smurfs. I figured Handy Smurf was a good fit since I am building it all from scratch.

I need some advice. What is a good height to set the skid plate on the MRC? I want to get this chassis as close as possible on the first try.

So far I like it, but I am not through building it quite yet. I am not sure if I got the two CF plates cut at the correct angle though. I will have to test it out to see.

Where can I get the knuckle weights? I do not see them on VP's website & googling turned up nothing. Great build.

I am doing the MRC to LCC conversion and running LCC knuckle weights. Google Dlux fab.

I was talking to a buddy who had concerns about my chassis being legal. I would appreciate some input. Below are the specs.

Nose: 2.5"
Skid to hump: 3.5"
Length: 6.875"

I assume only one point has to reach the overall dimension. I am also concerned about the 1" cab height rule.

I am getting close to having this all together. The servo is just for mock up. Going to use a Hitec 7955TG.

I am getting close to having all my links figured out. I am taking tig wire and super glueing into drilled out links for mock up. Easy to cut and bend. Once I get it where I want it, I will order some Ti links. sure hope the rest if my parts arrive this week.
