| Looking to buy a Losi-mini
Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for a new crawler and came across this one, http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1011496 and was curious to see if its worth the $265 shipped price tag. My cousin has a redcat rs10 and its OK but he's already upgraded some things and he's around the same price but this Losi looks like its worth way more but I dont know what I'm all looking at, nor do I know much about these things, in general. Should I jump on this immediately or is that too much. I see alot of ppl running those tires. Thanks guys, |

I'd say it's probably worth it based on the fact that you would have to spend almost triple that to buy all that new. Thats a super nice chassi too, (beetle juice). Good luck man.

Thats what I was thinking too. I guess that redcat is 1/10th scale but what is this one? I wanted to get one the same size.

not a very good deal IMO. you can buy a new mini pro, that comes with upgrade parts for less than $70. I set my mini pro up for less than the cost of that rig and thats with a fair amount of upgrades. mini pro roller- $65 MIP drve shafts- $30 motor- $15 esc- $65 servo- $35 battery- $5 alum. C-hubs- $12 bent links- $15 new RX- $30 total cost-$272 |

Definately a pass at that price, unless you don't have time to build it yourself. The MRC Pro roller is just too cheap!

The mrc pro is not at 65$ anymore... Horizon put it back to 235$. I have found it at 75$ on the amazon site |

I'm waiting on a $72.xx eBay pro roller - Monday is the day. Been telling my buddy to jump on this, hope the under $80 supply doesn't dry up! |
