The pro comes with a transmission. The only thing that I can tell is missing is a Tx/Rx (Radio). I'm having a hard time finding a low place for my Gens Ace 800mAh Lipo, so good luck with that 1300! One last thing, I'm not a fan of the Claws, and I LOVE my Rovers, I think they should everybody's first upgrade. Good luck with the build, but most importantly, have fun!! |

I dont think that Losi servo will last to long, the Traxxas might be ok. Most use a Hitec 645 servo for a lower priced option. Forget the brushless motors and just put the Contraband motor in, you'll be much happier. There are TONS of threads on what to put in the Pro and what works, just have to search. I hate seeing people throw money away by not searching and asking the same questions over and over again. Good luck on your build, its a great car that works really well. Check out Rubbanecks build for some setup help.

I use a $10 Tower Pro servo with 180oz/in (ish) torque, and I like it a lot more than the 645, although, that may be because I went through 3 of the Hitecs in a month..

| I never had any good usage from the 645s I had, sent them back several times only to have them fall apart or burn out again. They are cheap to buy but expensive to replace. |

I figure between the 1/10 servo i bought and the 1/18 servo i bought it would hold me over intill i get the rest all done then I'm going to switch it prolly. When I bought those I was looking for something that I KNEW for sure would work on the mrc. After doing alot more homework on here I learned much more about what I should have got. I'm already loving my Mrc pro and havent even got to use it yet. I like the fact that it's not all Plastic like the ax10 i had was. After one or 2 trips across the rocks my ax10 links looked like they been through the ringer. |
