| What component causes this?
I'm having trouble maintaining a consistent speed. As soon as the rig is free from obstacle it greatly speeds up. Is this because the motor is weak and can't push it's way through the obstacle? I know it seems obvious that when it's no longer under load that it would speed up but the difference is pretty extreme. I'm running all stock electronics for now. I've got a br-1, rims, tires and various other parts under the tree. I've not seen any reason to upgrade the motor until I noticed this issue, if it is even an issue. Just makes it harder to maintain a specific, controllable and predictable speed. |

Stock motor.....yeah , it will do that. I ran a stock motor in my pro for a while, then I got a Brood motor......night and day difference.

Well guess I need to do some research, I'm so motor tarded I have no idea what size the stocker is? And I don't want to bore ya'll with the over asked questions. edit: Is the brood anarchy 19t the motor of choice? I'm not much of a speed demon. Back in my 2.2 days I'll I ever ran was the 55t and 60t lathe motors. Is 19t torquey enough? Just seems small to me, but I'm new to the mini world. I run the 18t anarchy in mine and it has plenty of torque.

Before you potentially ruin some nice new stuff let me suggest some things. Pull the motor and drive shafts and make sure your tranny is spinning freely and do the same for your axles. Case and point. My rig was doing the same the other day, and it turns out I was doing some poor refitment on some stuff and my knuckle weights had slid into my inner beadlock ring. Your better off with the parts regardless but just check everything first. RickM |

I never got enough drag out of the novak. It went with my GC3 chassis.
