Hey Stephen,

Did it have the same battery/servo tray up front or a smaller one just for the servo?

The Mini Rock Crawler Pro (which you have) has the servo & battery type tray. (You can change the set-up from a 1/10 scale servo to a 1/18 scale servo if you want.) What you have is how the Pro is packaged in order to use the Losi cube battery. You could change to an aftermarket tray/bracket to center the servo and put the battery somewhere else.

Cool...I want it all up on the front axle like my LCC is, so I'm glad it's setup that way...I'm just hoping that I'll be able to squeeze a slightly larger 3s battery up there once I widen it with the 13mm junfac wheel wideners. I appreciate the help,

Are you going to run the wideners in front and back? The front had the red Junfac wideners (before it sold originally) and have already been drilled to accept the barrel nuts. If I remember correctly, even with the red wideners, the stock tires would rub just barely at full lock (more on the servo side). They also put the width a hair over the 1.9 comp allowable width of 8".

I was planning on running the 13mm ones just on the front.

Mine has the same servo mount/battery tray as yours. Going to order an outboard shock mount kit now since it looks like they are getting hard to find.

Hey guys,

Just a quick update. I have a Xelorin Brushless setup headed my way from Ryan at East Coast RC. Now, I just have to start piecing this thing together.

What size gear do I need to run on this Losi Xceleron motor, and where do I get it?

4 years to ship? Must have come via USPS. Ryan at East Coast might want to try UPS next time.

Does anybody know where to get the 48p pinion gears with the small center bore? Also, I need the main gear that it drives, preferably in metal instead of plastic?

RC18 pinons are 48p and have a 2mm bore. They are also steel. I just put two of them on my new Everest-16s.

Associated RC18 Pinions.
