So I'm going to try something different here. I'm going to make a speed MRC Pro. Here is what it looks like right now. I still need to do a lot more work on it but...... More to come |

I was just kidding about using that. It looks kinda cool though . OH and BTW I sent you a PM about some of your Bad @$$ Weights ;) Quote:
I picked this up last week brand new. It came with the servo Losi C-Hubs, Losi Zero Ackerman Knuckles Aluminum hexes and the rear bent links. I picked up a Brood Anarchy motor for it and last night I got a Tekin B1R esc for it. The guy I got the Brood from didn't know what turn it is So I'm just going to have to try different pinions to figure out what works best. Here is my parts listing so far and how much I've spent. ~MRC Pro w/upgrades (New) = $120 ~Brood Anarchy (New) = $45 ~Tekin B1R (Used) = $20 ~Servo (Used) = $0 (Came with the car) ~Gmade Wheel Wideners (New) = $10 ~BWD Servo Mount/Battery Guard = $35 (Including Shipping) ~STRC Servo Mount = $17 ~Losi Shock Outboard Kit = $9 ~BWD Motor Plate and Motor Spacer = $40 ~~~Total = $296 (so Far)~~~ I got the B1R for a pretty good deal off of eBay. All these prices are including shipping. I'm planning on getting Thunder Power 325mah 2s batteries to run in this. I'm going to be using my DX2S to control it and SR3520 RX. I painted up the body yesterday. It's only my 3rd body ever to paint. I didn't to terrible but the CF didn't turn out perfect. It was my first time doing CF. Some of the Upgrades I plan on getting in the future are: ~Bodiless Chassis (Not sure which one yet) ~C.I. Lil'Nova Foams ~HB Rovers ~MIP CVDs ~Krawler Konceptz Skinz ~RichardGarret's Knuckle Weights ~VP LH Procomp Wheels ~Hitec 7954 ~Chaotic Crawler Ti Links ~Losi Aluminum Rear Lockouts These are in order of when I'm planning one getting them. LMK what other Upgrades you think would be Good for it. Last edited by EverettY; 03-24-2012 at 07:47 PM. | |

Since you want to go to a bodiless chassis, you know which one I'm going to recommend...... Get the Low Pro and never look back! |

Nice the wheels look nice. Do you have to get servo mounts for it? That is a pretty tight fit too.

I wouldn't waste my money on the Losi aluminum rear lockouts, I bent 3 of the inner shafts and went back to dogbones on my non Pro Roller rigs. On my Pro Roller rigs I left the stock rear alone. Much more reliable/stronger IMO.

| Re: EverettY's MRC Pro Build ;) i would get the servo mount with the the wheels for two reasons.my front end is a nice fit with everything.those wheels also have new technology that don told me.the wheels have a tall ring on the inside them for a couple reasons.first is the ledges are easier to handle and your tire will less likely get stuck in holes because of the diameter.it also makes you tire a lot thinner.putting the tire on is a million times easier because of that center ring it holds the foams up above the beadlocks so they can't pinch as easily.the beadlock is a little bigger than normal but that makes a lot tighter fit.
