Default One messed up rig :)

Well I bought a used chassis and body off ebay.

So here it is.

Im gonna use the bits from my losi crawler to complete it.

OK so put my axles in no transmission yet but this is how it looks.
Yes one shock not connected as it broke as I tried to put it on the ball on the chassis :(

Hope to fit transmission in next day or so and next week get it running when the new shocks arrive
So what do you think of a "messed up" truck rather than something that looks clean
I like it as its different

after fitting...

gonna be running stick packs as got alot of them from my drifters

interior, but again im not a fan

and the all important flex shots

I will be building a new rear similar to the one I removed but more in scale with the cab

I am looking forward to getting out on the trial with this rig.

Im waiting on parts so looking 2-4 weeks before it gets a proper run, although ganna try in my room in 4-5 days just to see if she is all true and not crabbing.

Gonna be great, especially when I get my girlfriends Tamiya CC01 with new bright range rover shell running again (its ESC almost caught fire last run it had :( )

here is some of it tonight

this is now going to be the rear. OK it will be modded quite a bit and will sit lower and right up close with the cab and the fenders moved backwards.

What do you all think?

Sorted the steering after it was good one way but not the other, i put link arm on other side and its now great

She is almost ready for a run, need glue tyres on.

Think I need two springs on each rear shock or twin rear shocks as weight of battery is preventing it from self leveling after flexing :(

tried this....

Twin spring on rear shocks.

Well it helps it return after a flex but it don't flex on the rear now unless I push it by hand :(

Think battery is too heavy :(
Not sure what other shocks or springs I can fit....

can anyone help?

True they are big and heavy but I got ten of them from my drifters.

My ESC is not lipo ready, plus I dont have funds for a few lipos and charger, not at moment anyway.

Think Im gonna have to put up with a rear that will not self level for a bit until I can afford a lipo setup.
