I talked with Mike a lot at the Best of the West Comp about this chassis he chose me to build one up and test it for him. Finally after many years calling this thing a Little Mother F**ker. It will be one now. Here is what I'm tearing down and transferring over. Build list: LIL MF'r by MFD Infectious rc servo mount Titanium links from moes670 Savox sc-1268 Aluminum losi mrc shocks with silver springs up front and blue in the rear Rc Bro's High steer knuckles Rc Bro's steering link Mamba Micro Pro Original Holmes mini motor Castle BEC Mip Drivelines Vanquish little Harrys to be replaced with Mr. Vertical Mini Wheels Mini revo pinion in front axle. Donor rig: Chassis out of the package. Put the chassis together I switched up the normal spacers to match my 2.2 rock spider chassis but not sure about the bends in the a pillar. |

I have a busy week of work up till wednesday. My boss is out of town and I'm in charge of 5 guys instead of one. One is in training to be the salesman but still has to ask me what to do. He is suppose to be in charge but knows nothing. Over the turkey day weekend I will transform it.

Sooo...wheres the restraining order Mike sent along with that chassis? Or now that you HAVE one...you'll stop lickin his bedroom window in yer footsies pajamas & breathing hard into his voicemail? On a serious note...Im glad you finally got one...so you'll stop stalking the poor guy. On a real serious note...build her good cuz The West Coast Shootout's a comin. Hope to see the PNW crews representing. I think EverettY needs a ride & a roommate so I told him youd be HAPPY to support the younger generation of RC crawlers...RIGHT Corn Doggy Dog? See ya in a few months dude. Steves chassis looks great Mike. Changes were all smart ones. That cab is SCURRY thin. Lightweights an understatement fo sho. J.D. |

Yah the cab is thin. All that needs to be done is run the over the top of the cab and makeit a tad wider than the cab so the cab is protected. If it brakes i go thicker.

I got a chance to mock up the rear axle tonight. I put Traxxas 2742 rod ends on my moes670 Titanium upper links. I used Traxxas 2742x on the moes670 Titanium Lower links. Last edited by Red Rockcrawler; 11-23-2012 at 07:54 PM. |

I decide to flipped my trans around cause the pinion was interfering in where my upper links had to mount. I'm gonna go and get longer rod ends tomorrow and see if they will work with my links that I already have or I'm gonna need to have new links made. |

I thought about doing that also. But by flipping the trans around I'm getting the better half of the motor weight towards the front. This is how the trans was mounted in my MRC Pro Chassis. Plus this kinda the whole part of Mike sending out chassis to a few people. Not everyone gonna build it the same and gives him options for the mass produced chassis. Yeah...I'd say either fab a spacer or buy a BWD piece (sick little gem right durrr) & do as Tim said & flip your pinion. BUT...its YOUR rig & ya gotta do what you thinks right. Nice links BTW. J.D. |

Who knows I might flip it back again. I'm still test fitting everything and right now I'm 1/8" to long at full compression with the links and rod ends that I have.
