Also thinking about cutting the top of my shocks off and plastic welding a shortened 3mm ball end on top of it. Has this been done before? Not trying to make them any taller or shorter. But If I do that I will be able to run misalignment spacers and mount my shocks farther back on my rtr to lower it some more and on the mini wedge my upper links will then clear my shocks.

Axels and transmission are here from Troy. Just realized I need to pick pick up a complete screw set to get this 2nd chassis together. I also might be buying my 3rd crawler soon... Buddy has a 100% stock mrc that's brand new. Wants 100$ for it. I'm kinda still on the fence on if I want that or to get a red cat rs10xt. Iv got the 1/18 scale covered. Might as well bump to 1/10 now.

Isn't it better to jump into 2.2pro class with a set of Bully2 axels that does not require hundreds of dollars and hours just to be reliable?

I'm not really looking for a 2.2 comp rig. Just a mess around rig. And they seem to be half way decent to begin with from what I read

Well I decided to hang on to my rtr chassis to mess around with. And I got a wild burr up my ass this week to start working on it again. Got the Novak mongoose crawler motor mounted up to the transmission. Put some aluminum chubs and knuckles I had on my axels along with some cvds. I also did some messing around with my shocks. As you will see in my next 2 pictures.
This was ride hight before

And how it sits now. Took a pen spring, cut it in half and put one around the shock shaft and the other above the oil damper and then moved front upper shock mount back to lower the front a bit more. Currently have no oil in the shocks but I might get some lighter weight oil to put in them.

Poser shot. Well because it's missing a few things yet. With out crawling with it I like this suspension set up. Even though it's still on stock 3 link. With no external springs my tires don't grab the springs at full lock and flex like they used too. Suspension travels smoothly. Can't wait to get it all together. Might throw electronics at it just to test it out a bit and see what it's like.

What's this? Nick had time to work on his crawler. That's rare lol. It's just about ready. Need to grab a couple of set screws. One for motor gear and one for front drive shaft. Get some lipos and a charger and it will be ready for this winter to crawl with my buddy and my uncle

Who wants to buy this rig? I no longer have interest in it and could use the money invested in it towards my most recent project

I have kinda lost motivation to touch this thing in the last few months. I started to build a car last year so this got on the back burner. And then my buddy that I would crawl with was killed in a car accident in November. So this has been sitting untouched for a long time. But I might finish it and get it going here In the coming weeks or months if I get spare time. Wish me luck

Thinking of getting these batteries. What is a good, cheap charger. I don't want to spend 100+ on a charger.

Get the 300mah 2s 45-90c packs.. If they are in stock..

Hyperion is a good charger.. So is a Onyx.. I had both and liked them both.
