It is in the picture just under 3" wide and slightly over 6.75" in length and 2.75" in height.

Now I just reread the rules and it has only to be over 2.5" wide... doh! good that I haven't made the long upper spacers yet

Thought it looked a bit wide, but no biggie, looking forward to maybe running one someday soon

Maybe some width is required to fit the tranny and motor?

I will see, but it is a good point!
With the NCD transmission box I think the width will not be a problem but with the original you have to have some width perhaps. I will measure more tomorrow.

Thanks for pointing it out. I threw on some shorter spacers I had at home and the width now is 2.7". I will order some even shorter ones to get to slightly over 2.5" width.

Width is now 2.7"

It will also be possible to use the skins from my 2.2Pro Pitbull chassis for this Mini version

Soooooo J E A L O U S!!!!!

Looks awesome!

Any plans for the front axle? Like to get ur servo level? Shorter upper links or drilling 2 new holes farther forward on the servo/link plate?

Thanks

It is really starting to shape up and I am feeling really happy how the chassis turned out.

Yes, the servo will be more level. I just took what links I had in my parts bin and threw them on. I will start to make new links, hopefully during the weekend. The upper ones will be of 4 mm CF tube. The same nice weaved CF tubes as I use in my chassis spacers. The lower links will be in 3 mm titanium.

This sure is a nice build. I cannot wait to see where the bits and pieces go.

Mini pitbull... awesome! Looks so sick. Once this is all finished, it will be impressive to see the lines it could pull. Looking great

Tobias, this looks awesome! F^cking AWESOME. I sent you the files for the skins so you should be able to make your mods. I'll keep checking on this WICKED mini.

Awesome!

Those custom SCX shocks look right at home on a mini. No more 2mm!!

This build is raising the bar for the rest of us, and getting our hopes up....

I've been cursing Dravpnir many times for those shocks!

I have a set of scx shocks intended for my XR but now, i think the XR needs to settle with the BBs so i can shorten my scx shock to fit the mini

Could it be possible to make the spacers shorter to lower the servo?

The spacers at the front has to be longer so they reach the axle housing. I calculated that in the rear you should have the same amount of clearance under the servo as the "traditional" mounts. But if you would like to lower the servo just shorten the mounts on the axle housing.

Edit: By using this mount the servo should sit at more or less the same height as it would if it sat level on a normal mount.

But the mounts I have completley lack spacers?

I understand that the front need to be raized in order to make the servo leveled

Ah! Two answers in one there! I've been wondering what would happen to them tiny mounts when you drill them for m3! Maybe you should drill with 2,6 so the threads dont push the walls out, giving some room for the extra material?

The mounts seem to hold quite fine without the reinforcements actually. But do not use a tap to make the threads. Use a screw with sharp threads to press some threads in the mounts. The screw get so warm after the first hole so it more or less melts the threads into the plastic

Very nice sir! I have done similar, by cutting the single post or small spacer under the dual post, but this.. This tops em all! Very well played, very well in deed!:cool:
