I know this may be a stretch but does anyone have a mini 8 they could measure the ring gear diameter and diff width from bearing to bearing an the differential case? the pinion gear dimensions would be nice to.. Got a idea rattling in head that would help two of losi 1/18ths you can probably imagine which two it be if they share ring an pinions for the diffs.. Also if someone has a traxxas front/rear diff they could measure that be also helpful cause I did notice just the ring an pinion gear do fit in the mrc area but I don't have the side parts to make it a complete unit for with. ya it will likely mean needing to have someone machine axle adapters but... I think it could be beneficial to have a slightly more common diff. |

Not sure on the mini 8ight, but mini lst ring/pinion setups are identical, share the same part number, and are only different in the fact that the mini lst has a diff instead of a locker. Also worth noting, if using a combo of MRC/Mini LST axles, one of the two will have to be flipped, they spin opposite directions.

well the idea would be to replace the diffs with something that has metal inside them instead of plastic spider gears. Good to know on the mrc axle the directions are reversed so would need to make a backwards housing or bulkhead for the mlst which in that case a flipped housing for the mlst would be the easiest!
