Default It time, again! Let's get another one in training...

Ok all.. So when I got into this Pack with the "dog father".. There was no such plans for raising mini's..
After the genius of Dravpnir meshed with the craftsmanship an quality of ClassiCutCustom.. A guy ends up with a bad ass little Shit-zew to train!

I'll be trying to make quick progress with this one..

Goin to borrow the mini mantis drive train for now.. Got some saaweeet dravpnir wrapters an new axle housings to put back on it.. In white, to match the white chassis..

Anywho.. Then as I get the time, I'm goin to give a go at the mrc60 axle originally by MRCcrackhead..
So some fun stuff coming on this one as well!
Something a little special with the tranny.. An allusive EY design CF motor plate.. HH motor, Hr idler.. Oh yeah, I got the good's!
Maybe even s LNC tranny and HH 400 puller down the road... WHAT!!!
Hopefully I can talk "The man" into cutting some 1.9 CF wheels! ;) (no pressure now) lol..

So, if no one else feels this way, I don't care! Lol..

1.9 has got to be my favorite class to build! Building is fun in All classes, but with the 1.9's, a guy is Only limited by there own self will, skill, and Want... IMO..

Everything is 2.2 related.. Stretch it for a super and done. With the 1.9, everything needs shrunk and modified to perfection!

Anyways.. I can feel the passion coming back for 1.9 and couldn't be at a better time..
I got "roller" mached up last night.. (Pic 1)
Look at that chassis Pop! (Pic 2)

(I don't know why tapacrap decided to "update" again, but now pics won't load where I insert them.. This is the second time they have done it this way) :(

Now today I got some time.. Redid the front uppers, rear lowers, and found rear uppers..

Now there is only 3mm hardware on this rig.. So when I went to grab the stock mrc lowers to hold the axle in place as uppers, I felt like a was curling a 2lb weight!
So with a measurement, I looked in my link box.. Found my OG CF links, and they are the right length!
Just for an idea of weight.. The 2x CF links with revo ends and aluminum balls, are barely any heavier then just one of the mrc links without ends on it!

Anyways.. I got it all squared away, wheel base correct, cycling smoothly, and as a proper roller..

at this point I think it is in the fridge with the prunes and coffee but I do need to clean my car out so you never know troy . Worse case scenario: you just blow my phone up .

That aside if you need me to make some uppers I can do that... the threaded ends showing is sad

Nah.. If it was with the prunes and coffee, they would have been shipped Grammy Express!

Lmao.. After I posted the pic, I looked closer at it and saw the links..
Figured someone would catch it, "oh crap".. Lol..
They where just quick mach up and tuning, which I'm still working on.. Getting panels made for this weekend's comp..
Update coming in the days soon to follow..

So here we go!!! Comp one under the collar..
I'm not sure if it's the driver or just some hidden knowledge behind the ClassiCutCustom line up of chassis's, but.... Barry can send a chassis, let me build it and Bam! 2 weeks later, a Win!
Some minor changes to be made but all in all, no complaints here!
It acted and reacted like the CCC, sporty, Boxer chassis. Which is different for me, with the little guys..
A huge difference in crawlability. Minimum TT, and Way better side hilling. The biggest thing I noticed (or better gain) was the bump climb..
I couldn't for the life of me get the mini mantis to bump up a rock face and climb.. This little Shit-zew can!

Over all.. Tobias and Barry did a good job with this one.
I'm going to throw a couple "small" changes at Barry and see if this can't hit the production line sooner then later! ;)

First course (which was ran as the 3rd course for me) I had a small issue with the panels not wanting to stick to the rig and showed up late.. :/

After the first 2 course's, I didn't have much worry left, but then the small lack of skid rake came thru on 6.. The low roof line helps on the rocks and hinders in other spots.. Had a roll over..

CCC mini, C1: http://youtu.be/vwY9IcHeSFE

Course 2.. Awesome first course to run! We have ran this rock before and gate 4 have the mantis issues before.. Not this time!

CCC mini, C2: http://youtu.be/WXCw_vFM_Eg

Then course 3, yet another saaweeet little course, this rock is a perfect 1.9 rock!
Again, was a little worried on gate 4 with the low clearance (which really isn't all that low, just lower then I'm use to with the mantis).. But sYqn-2ba2-s4

CCC mini, C3: http://youtu.be/Yqn-2ba2-s4

Sucks in and out of the shadows, but, not the greatest video is better then No video!!! ;)
