Fresh page, fresh material!

Let's all hum a little tune..

Oh, wouldn't it be nice if Tobias where here.
Then we wouldn't have to wait so long for the mail.
And wouldn't it be nice to comp together.
In the kind of world where we all crawled!

Better hands.. for the longevity of life of the parts.. Life on a shelf! ;)

I think Tobias wants these parts built, tested, crawled, reviewed, and posted on tho.... lol...

Now I just need to do panels, that will match the badassness of the DravTech parts!

I'm kind of curious myself beings I had my hands in the design process quite a bit. They ought to be pretty well bulletproof though between the way the cover interlocks with the housing around the diff/spool bearings, the 2mm wall thickness throughout, the threaded inserts, and right down to the over-sized pinion bearing. Between Tobias and I, we designed these to take a beating.

I personally can't wait to get my version of this little rig together. Beings I don't compete, mine will spend it's time pushing some of the nastiest lines I can find. It'll get beat on... You know, "testing."

Sooo.. I didn't feel like being a Zero.. So, I got straight to it!

Weights loaded, wheel's built..

Fit and finish, overall, is Awesome!
I found a front knuckle a little tight on the weights. One rear was slip fit. The other of each, was a nice compression fit.
Either which way, the weights are held in, with No chance of falling out!

The Biggest thing that popped out at me.. I know right, "just one!?".. Lol..
But this, to me, was above and beyond "just" a set of Custom axles... ;)

I first got them and wondered, "what the hell are those holes for!?"..
Then I looked at the front axle.. "it has dimples in it".. Wtf!...

"Oh they line up for easy building for us not so great at building"..

Ooohhhhhh... No. They aren't! They are relief's for the tire rod link ends, so they don't hit/bind!

Tobias, your a F'n genius!!!

Ahh Troy when are you going to stop spending all your money on RC's? You never seem to have enough money to get a new camera

Your parts look pink in the pictures...
