overdrive mod in clone?
 

So I'm doing some research

I loved my mrc before trading it, and picked up a little known scale rig which uses 1/18 axles which research has shown the axles look like the everest 16/ maxstone 16/ templer 18. And I read in here where someone said that people are using maxstone diff in there comp rigs.

So that been said has anyone done the mini e-revo pinion to overdrive there mrc clone?

I had the morning off, so I dug deep in to the RGT axle. I recently found the ring gear that was left over from when I did my overdrive mod to my old mrc.

Well I believe it will work, the rgt pinion fits the mini e-revo ring gear.

So I'm confident that the overdrive mod will work in this clone axle. Just need to get a pinion and see. Which the only thing I don't know is pinion shaft fitment but can find a bearing to fix that if need be.

Pinion gear showed up yesterday, need to install still and give it a test.

Put it in and work fine. Just need a new drive shafts. Old pinion out put is 5mm and od gear output is 4mm. I did fit the drive shafts and gave a little test before it popped off. It works good.
