Have you had any trouble with the set screws backing out? 149 r/c worx's Team Driver |

Not too many set screw issues, but... Make sure ya give the screw on coupler, the slide pin retainer cup thingy, a dab of blue loc, as well.. I had to finish a comp with a body pin, holding my drive shaft together! Lol..

I like the shafts but I had 2 sets bend the shaft and flatten the pin that started binding the sliding motion One thing I use is dry grafite lube for all my joints and cvd You can get them at auto parts stores or online they are aerosol but dry and leave a film of grafite on the parts and they do not attract dirt Down fall it's like using spray paint it goes everywhere and is black in color

I'm using the Dravtech front and rear axle housings for the mini. I've got the Wraith rear axle shafts cut to length and the flats are ground on the ends for a nice snug fit into the metal lockers. Ready to button up the rear axle now and move on to the front. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by blandon; 12-02-2016 at 04:27 PM. |

Rear axle all assembled. I love the design of this rear axle, goes together nicely, is butter smooth when all together and I love this rear weight system! One axle down and one to go!! . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So on to the front axle. I went with Dravtech's knuckle/weight system and Chubs. For front axle shafts I went with Dlux's FBA shafts, bombproof and great steering angle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm using the Traxxas 7079 pinion gear to overdrive the front and picked up some shims to get the gear mesh perfect. FBA axles are cut to length and ends are ground to fit the locker so now I can grease everything up and finish up the front axle. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Time for links and shocks! I cut 10mm off these SCX10 Icon shock bodies and picked up some Losi shafts that are already 35mm long so no need to cut and re-thread shafts. I'm gonna try out some of the Krazed Builds shock pistons that I picked up from Robbob. . . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tie rod is made and it's a slider, except for the shocks that I'll be assembling tonight. Even with the steering at full tilt left or right, the FBA axles still turn smooth! . . . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One of the coolest little features on this axle is the pocket that is built in to the Dravtech axle housing and Chub which allows you to get every drop of available steering. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

you guys and your mini's....... Super is where its at! Cool build for sure.. Dravtech has got some serious stuff on lock! EDIT: but ya know what at least its something completely different than any other class (IE 2.2s vs 2.2p.... practically the same imo) |
