I'm not sure which gears you need but a quick Google search yielded these two.

Didn't the MRC get re-released as a different Losi, Vaterra, or ECX?

Yes. It was released as the Vaterra Slick Rock and it's all the same internals, with the exception that I believe the trans gears are all hardened, which means they're better. Should still be able to find them online and at local hobby shops.

When Losi stopped production I started looking on EBay and I was able to purchase a spare drivetrain, fasteners and chassis components.
Look there...and good luck. I did the above about a year after Losi stopped production

Hot racing offers transmission gears still.

I found some Slickrock ones at Hobbytown so it's back up and running now but thanks for pointing out Hot Racing do them. I've got the Shoddyking brushless sensored motor in it now so it on a bit of an upgrade. I'm wondering how long I've had the old girl as I got it just after the Pro came out I'm guessing about 8 years.

Which motor, the trackstar? How do you like it? I just picked up a barely used MRC Pro with a generic Chinese Brushless sensorless system and it can't crawl at all. Too much speed and power. I was able to pick up a NOS Novak Timbuk2 ESC but having a hard time finding a brushless sensored 380 motor.

Yes it's the Trackstar one suggested by BL-Air , https://hobbyking.com/en_us/1-14th-s...or-4620kv.html
I'm finding it better than the old brushed one but I have a cheapo ESC and although the drag brake works I have to be really careful about trying to reverse on any step incline as the brake just seems to let go all at once and the crawler shots down the slope.

if you want to crawl just stay brushed. its the best way to do it.more low end control and pretty good wheel speed when you need it.
i like the team Brood anarchy motor the best. mamba micro X and the brood motor is what i run and love it.

What pinion gears are you running with the trackstar? I'm struggling to find small 0.5mod pinions with a 3.17mm shaft easily in the UK.
