Sorry, only just saw that you are a HH employee in product development in the description under you youtube vid.

Can you share anymore details on the Baja Rey? How is it holding up to the testing? Have you broken anything on it yet?

From watching the vids on losi Facebook and looking at the exploded view in the manual that can be downloaded from their website, I can see that the rear diff is locked, the diff centre is one of those x shaped things, the front diff is open and there is a centre diff in the transmission between front and rear drive shafts.

One of the Losi guys in the video says the centre diff is packed with grease, but you could put different weight silicone in it if you want to change its characteristics.

yeah. I definitely want one. im sure there is a different rear diff you could swap in if you so happen have the need to put it on a track. clay specifically.

im sure it will handle well. but not as good as a 22 2.0 sct or a 22-4

Anybody seen any new info on this? Supposed to be available any day now I think.

Harley has a good discussion video about it.

My son is driving a Slash 4x4 now and I can't keep up with him in my Bomber. I think this Baja Rey is just what I need!

I was pretty sure they had already been officially released? I'm almost positive there was a red one on the shelf at HobbyTown in San Marcos, CA when I went in there last week...

Just picked it up. Waiting on my ec3 to deans connectors. It's nice and light though compared to my yeti score truck. I have side by side pics of both that I'll post tomorrow. It looks promising. There are some places for improvement but so far it looks good. Shocks are BUTTER smooth but stock oil seems a bit light.

The Baja is about 3/4 in longer. Steering setup feels a bit sloppy. Im gonna try swapping to an aluminum servo arm to see if that fixes the feel. Someone def has to come out with a set of upper and/or lower arms. The uppers are super bendy! Shocks feel awesome and i cant wait for aluminum bodies to be made. Just the initial feel of the suspension gives it a nod over the yeti but well see how it does on dirt. IM waiting on my ec3 to deans adapter i ordered from amazon. Im trying to figure a way to incorporate the deans plug permanently into the chassis and im sure someone out there will take care of that. Im the meantime ill deal with it. Body off pics coming later on today. Overall, im really pleased with how it looks and feels. I can already see myself putting some money into it to improve some areas. But then again every car out there is a potential money pit!

Id highly recommend finding a 1.5mm hex driver key for a drill if they make one! What i did was break my 1.5mm L wrench allen key and still it into my drill driver. Def makes taking the body off WAY easier.

Thanks for sharing the sisde by side comparison! You are the first to do this I believe. Here is a sweet fix for the EC3 connector. they sell them on Ebay. Should keep things tidy.

I should have mine on Wednesday of next week! I have a Savox 1258 servo, aluminum servo arm, and a clear body coming as well!
