Picked one up yesterday at the LHS. Looks pretty good. They said they had 2 of them out to try and break them but they just kept going, except the servo. Only got 13 minutes minutes out of them before they let go. With that said, Protek 130T and EC3 adapters are on the way! Can't wait to see what the aftermarket does for this.

One thing that bothers me is the recievers location. They state the truck is waterproof but the rx is out in the open just behind the esc exposing it to any water that may come through. Its not sealed in any type of casing or box. Lower front A arms look to be boxed. There is a plastic contoured plate that bolts to the arms which looks like an aftermarket vendor could copy and would definitely stiffen them up. Im gonna check it out today.

could be the rx is waterproof, especially if its marketed as such. i dont mean to come off as a losi nutswinger, because i definitely prefer axial, but stock it looks a hell of alot more sturdy than a yeti could ever hope of being. aluminum chassis and top-plate, battery in a race proven location, nice and wide trailing arm mounts on the axle, etc. |

You could def tell that the losi is better built. Are the parts as durable as the yetis? Time will tell. The yeti is def heavier compared to the losi. The losis upper chassis brace is nice but looks to be a pain in the ass when steering upgrades or front end upgrades come around. The whole entire plate must be removed. Maybe im overthinking it. The yeti wasnt exactly a cake walk either but well see.

I've only run a couple batteries on my track, definitely handles better than a yeti out of the box! Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk |

durable... eh maybe. losi first release kits and rtrs are durable to a point. im willing to bet its as durable as a tekno 4x4 sct. not a tank but it can take its beating. for example, the losi 22 3.0 buggy had hinge pin and rear toe block issues but has since been fixed. ive never broken an arm. never popped a cvd. and so on. |

Durable is relative. I don't think anybody would expect this to be Tekno durable, but Traxxas (or more) durable maybe. My first impression is its soft. Not really a bad thing as it will flex more then break (hopefully). My Tekno would drive through it though. But they are totally different machines. No way in hell this would make it around a track, any track for that matter as quick as my SCT410.3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All great points about durability. I loved my Tekno but it's hard for me to compare to this. A quick look at specs and it's obviously direct competition for the Axial Yeti Score. I have the Axial Score kit. It's my fifth Axial kit and it's obvious that Axial expects you to upgrade their rigs. Plastic pivot balls and pot metal gears are ridiculous! What Losi has done here is created a 1/10 Trophy Truck that drives great out of the box and does not require immediate upgrading! That in my book is a winner! I can't wait t get mine tomorrow! Leaky diffs, stripped screw, and a weak servo horn.. Easy fixes. Losi will address the leaky diff issue just like they did with the SCTE. They are releasing alloy option parts next month. Vanquish and others will follow. The twin hammers has a lot of aftermarket support. This will be no different. A great day in RC indeed! |

Looks like they got the motor and battery right on the chassis. Much better than the Yeti in that regard.

Just picked up hobby people's in house 23t servo horn and it Def makes a difference. I can't control in on my street cause it pulls hard one way when full throttle is punched. I hope aftermarket jumps on this truck soon!

My yeti with a 20t pinion on 3s has no chance against a Rey on 3s☹️
