Never heard of that company. Those are cool, but I'm selling my Rock Rey when I get around to it.

Well this was good timing because one if my front axles started spinning around the outer u-joint. Its a locked front diff and at first I thought maybe the tire was slipping the wheel, but nope.

I swear, i cant drive this thing for more than 2 minutes without something blowing up. Its incredible.

I know this is designed specific for the Rock Rey, but, I'm wondering something. Is there a way it could be used in the Baja Rey? Has anyone tried this? Or, for those who have this, and both vehicles, could you give it a try, and report back the results?

The baja rey has metal dog bones stock, doesnt it? And just from some images, it doesn’t look like there is enough clearance at the hub.

The rock rey comes with splined plastic shafts that strip.

Yes, the Baja Rey has dogbones, but they're quite thin. I haven't checked (yet), but I'd estimate they're no thicker than the dogbones found on my TLR 22 5.0 SR (1/10 2WD buggy). Even the MIP dogbones on my TLR 22T 4.0 are larger in diameter. For a vehicle this size, I'd have thought they would have gone with thicker dogbones. I'm looking for other options...but, so far, haven't figured out any. Of course, I've only had my Baja Rey for 3 days, so it's not as if I've been searching all that long.

Probably because its the front end has an open center and front diff.
