Thank god for SSD! You guys are going to sell a ton of these, lol. No one else wanted to listen and of course you guys are the first to produce, like always. Keep up the good work! |

SSD, when do you expect these to hit the shelves? I know RPP has them listed, but none in stock. I looked at all your US dealers and they do not even have the PN# listed yet.

I dont usually just do what most the other hop-up manufacturers do and make all the plastic parts in aluminum. So if a part is needed that solves a problem then email us: support@ssd-rc.com We will look into it... |

got mine today, quality peice. Tolerances are spot on, had to use a little thermodynamics to get the side bearings in. I feel like it was a good value, the machining is nice and crisp with minimal tool marks. The two screws around the pinion support is replaced by a single non captured screw And of course the larger bearing. I did not have to use any pinion shims setting mine up, as the backlash is very minimal. Once it gets warm it probably won't have any (this was a new gear set). Ssd If you all would make this same piece for yeti, I'd buy it in a heart beat. Great product |

I didn't want to say anything in this thread, but seriously an aluminum bulkhead for the yeti is needed. Bigger bearings of course. VP has had one designed for like 2 years, yet nothing released. Once again, you would be ahead of them. |

Installed mine yesterday. It is a beautiful piece and all the stock bearings/parts fit without a hitch. In terms of performance, no more diff popping! Definitely well worth it and a must have upgrade! |

I've just ordered one from RPP. Unfortunately I live in Europe, so I have to pay a lot for shipping and customs, not to mention the waiting time . This is the second SSD component I imported from the US, the first was the 3rd member. Please SSD, find a distributer in the European Union. This would make our lives easier I find it disappointing that a third party needs to fix the poor design of the OEM parts, but I am glad that someone finally fixed the issue. I went through two plastic bulkheads and one bearing already. Luckily my pinion gear is still in good shape, because they are on backorder until god knows when. |
