Default Chains or paddles

This is my first winter with my rock rey and I'm wondering chains vs paddles. On my Traxxas rustler I'm definitely running paddles as its a 2wd, but I didn't know about running paddles on a solid rear axle rig. I'll be running mostly on grass on 3s.

Paddles all the way, especially if you are going to running at speed. I have never been a fan of the chains, they always seem to eject them selves from the tires. It could also be because I have never bought good chains, I picked up an ebay set to run on stampeded 4x4 and they lasted one run before I lost one and broke the other. Truck wasnt overly powerful either older MMP and 3800 on 2s.
