Default Motor for kit

What is the longest motor that will fit in the rock rey. bought a kit now need the stuff to go with it

It’s not a straight forward fit though , the chassis plate needs to be hallowed out to receive the larger can and some plastic housing surrounding the transmission needs to be trimmed to get the pinion shaft in and the motor mount can be troublesome , Iv found if your running 16T pinion then need 17T position on motor mount

this is the 1515 2200 kv
There is also the 1512 2650 kv
If your putting 1/8 power in it definitely 100% will need to build bulletproof diffs

I was given a used yeti 3150 kv motor and Esc. Had 2 pack run thru it.
This is what i was planning on putting in.

Will it work?

bought a hobbywing sct max 10 combo with a 550 sized 3200kv motor and 120 amp esc. was not sure about the ESC from axial.

I’m running a hobbywing xr8 esc and a 3660 3600kv motor in a baja rey and it’s nuts.

I don’t have a rock rey yet but I’m sure it would be just as crazy
