|  Better motor for RTR Rock Rey
I bought a Rock Rey for my son to play along with my Bomber. I installed a 10 tooth pinion gear and have been running it on 2s for him to learn on. It is still plenty fast but trying to do even mild crawling it is cogging pretty bad. Is there a cheap motor swap I could do with the stock esc that will improve this? I'm not looking to put an expensive setup in this for a 7 year old. Stock motor says 2800kv 6 pole. What size motor is this? What kv range would be recommended? I still have the stock 12t pinion I could use on a slower motor later on. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk |

Stock motor is a 3660 size motor 36mm round and 60mm long Rcjuice has lots of inexpensive great motors a 3665 2600kv motor should work.
