| Rock Rey Tire Upgrade?
Hey all, I just picked up a Losi Rock Rey yesterday Just curious how well the stock Maxxis Creepy Crawler tires do for bashing / rock racing? I will rarely ever crawl with this truck. Should I buy a new set? Or do the stock tires perform well? I see the Maxxis are $60 for a pair, kind of pricey! Last edited by Hoyle; 02-06-2020 at 09:11 AM. |

I put a set of Proline Hyrax with their dual stage foams on mine and they seem pretty solid. The foams are a lot stiffer than stock which helps cornering. Last edited by mass-hole; 03-29-2020 at 09:37 PM. | |

The stock are fine. They are a bit mushy though. I went with Voodoo Ottsix and some aluminum beadlocs. I run mostly 3s and the styock wheel combo was too flexy and soft. On 2s it was OK.
