Center front driveshaft alternatives/upgrades?

Hi guys, last item on my worry list is the front center dogbone driveshaft for the rock rey. Essentially the internet is on full backorder on that part, I'm not sure if anybody has broken it? Or if there is a drop in replacement/upgrade?

Thanks!

I've read through a lot of the threads and haven't seen anyone having issues with it.

The Rock Rey doesn't use dogbones for the front. Only the Baja Rey uses the dogbones. The Rock Rey uses front driveshafts that are more reminiscent of the rear driveshaft, which are similar to the Wild Boar driveshafts used on the Axial Capra.

If you're referring to the BR, I haven't (so far...but, I keep looking) found any alternatives. I'm thinking it should be possible to piece together something from MIP, but I haven't attempted it...yet. I know several people are looking for the possibility of upgrading the stock BR front axles...not because they're bad (they're not l, but because they're like something stronger, "just in case", such as for running on 3S.

On the other hand, if you're referring to the RR driveshafts, Afrolucha recently came out with some 7075 machined front driveshafts that, I have to admit, look spectacular (and didn't do me any good, as I own the BR). The only "catch" is that you have to use the stock ends (which isn't bad as the stock ones are steel). The main website is www.afrolucha.com. They are currently sold out, but should have more sometime soon.

I was thinking he was talking about the dogbone going from the transmission to the front gear box.

Oops...you is right. Dum-dum (meaning 'me') accidentally glanced over the word "center"...my bad. MIP could have something for that. I haven't checked. Honestly, I hadn't even thought about that one, as I've been more concerned about the front & rear driveshafts.
