Default Dove off the deep end

Ok, here it is, bought my first RC kit 1n 1984 it was a Frog, many cars later, I find myself back in it. Bought a Rock Rey RTR today, along with LiPO batteries and charger. I also bought a new servo horn. What else do I need to know? Ran it for a couple of minutes on a storage charge, and...holy crap! All advice welcome...and probably needed.

Are you running 2S or 3S Lipo? The screws holding the diff cups are the weak point. If you want to bullet proof the diffs you need to use 2.5mm screws.

I dont own the Rock Rey but I can say that servos can be a consumable item especially on faster RC's. I dont know what the consensus is on servo savers with the Rock Rey but I tend to keep them in fast RC's to help keep the servo alive.

Running mostly 2S, have 1 3S pack. Have an upgraded servo to install, but will install when I upgrade all of the steering assembly. Gonna change out all of the links to aluminum, mostly so they are adjustable. What screws are needed? Just a better quality one, or bigger?
