This is LOUISIANA not Texass.

mexiCAN 05-08-2008 09:24 PM

Yeah, I understand that, but you also have arkansas and mississippi comps posted in this section so I thought it was fair game, Just trying to give the western LA guys an oppertunity to participate in comps that are not too far away, we will even drive closer to you guys on occations if we see that you guys are wanting to participate. please forgive me if I made your state look bad by posting a thread about a comp in a BAD ASS state :flipoff:

Why you guys holding it that late in the afternoon? Kind of gives us out of towners a late start on driving back.

Not griping being I can't make this comp, will be at the Oklahoma Comp, but is this a one time start or will this be typical?

Later.

well we are kinda new at this so things will change as we figure out what works best for everyone, some of our local guys go to church on sunday morning and we are trying to accomodate them, we have determined that sunday works best for most, as you have a whole day before the comp to work on your rig, charge batts, ect... as for being so late in the afternoon that can change, we just need enough people to justify doing so, I don't go to church so its not a problem for me, but the more crawlers the better right?;-) none of our comps really mean much right now because we are so late to the game in terms of state finals and Nats, but none the less we will continue to have comps untill next season so that we are prepared for next season "thumbsup". Just give us feedback on what works best for you guys and we will strive to make it as easy on everyone that we can.

If I were to come an I do plan on making one or two it would a 6 hr drive for me.

mexiCAN 05-08-2008 10:02 PM

we would love to have you, just let us know when, we'll see what we can do to make it easy on you, 6 hour drive @ 3.51 a gallon, thats dedication bro!"thumbsup"

besides that late in the afternoon, may not work that great for the local guys, so it can change, this comp will tell alot.

I would say that you could stay at my place the day before the comp, but I read somewhere earlier that you get "touchy feely" with folks, and we don't roll like that here in the big TX

chip cross 05-08-2008 10:08 PM

No, they like to touch me get your story straight .;-) every time I go to a comp it aleast 3 hr and as far as fuel my company buys that. "thumbsup"

I think we had a pretty good turnout for our first comp, we ran 2 courses with the intensions of running three, however shortly after we got the 3rd course setup, a huge freakin tree across the street from where we parked decided that it had rotted enough and did not want to stand any longer, and crashed into crawldood's truck! will get pics posted soon!
