Whatever time is good for you really. DeepVee just called me and said he is going to a car show in lake Charles instead. Going to call Boonie rat and see if he wants in too. I'm going regardless!

Y'all up for some Ultra4 style racing ? I have an idea I want to try, it involves crawling and hauling. It is kinda like short course racing and rock crawling all balled into one and you will be battling three things. The track, other drivers and the clock! Just crawling is lame, just racing is lame done both for years but when you breed them it gets fun!

I'm down to give it a try! Going brushless soon in the scaler. It should be interesting.

Anyone from Central Louisiana know of a group or club locally that does crawling / trail rides? I'm new to the hobby, and have a couple of friends that are just getting into it as well.

Hey guys, it looks like this thread died kind of a long time ago... My brothers and I live in Baton Rouge near LSU and we run axial rigs. We would be willing to travel.

I live off brightside, and we've got some decent terrain around here. Creeks, hills, rocks, sand (volleyball court). Nothing too crazy, but plenty to keep things interesting. What type of rigs are you running?

I have a few rigs.1 running and 1 almost running. Waiting on a care package from my bro on here! All scale trail trucks and a couple of on roads as well. My rig I am starting on will be waterproofed so I can hit creeks and stuff!

Sweet. I found out the expensive way when playing in the water without waterproofing. My brother's stock SCX 10 has no problems with it though. It was almost unkillable until we put a 16t brushed on it with 3s lipo. The spur gear couldn't handle the power... I've got a wraith and have pretty much replaced every major component on it, some even multiple times.

Haha no kidding. I get about 3 packs through mine before something else breaks. Today, I had to rebuild my rear driveshaft because of a bearing failure. But finally my brothers and I have all 3 rigs running at the SAME time for the FIRST time since we bought them lol.

@17dean I've got a really cool place for you to go run your rig. It's on LSU by the softball stadium in a parking lot. It's a huge dirt pile with lots of trails made by my brothers and I. You can't miss it. I'm offshore till next week. Go check it out and let me know what you think. We had a blast.
