Default Southern Nationals Exp

We need to get together and go over what we got and what we are going to need to setup at the Expo. It's only a month away now. I am assuming that we still have 3 - 10'x10' booths.

I have the Hobby Town rocks ready to be re-coated and I am building my second pod now.

Marvin should be getting the booth space now or next week.

I guess this is the expo Marvin was talking about a few months back. It went from wondering if the crawlers could do an exhibition, into a full blown nationals event that you have to be qualified to enter?
Good for your crew if so. I may be confused though.
I guess my question is when, where and is the comp open to public or qualified entrants only?

Its set for Sept 9/10/11.I think it will be free to come and crawl ,after all it is just a demo, but you dont have to be a qualified entrant,we are just trying to show the public what crawling is all about. There may be a fee at the door, but dont quote me on that

Ohhh, ok, the title made me think it was a USRCCA type Nationals event now.
Sucks to be me, I will be working most of September, no chance of making the show. I would be there if I could though. Would definitely like to come comp with you guys sometime, sounds like you've got a great group.
If any of you are ever near Lafayette, you have a standing invite to come crawl at my place, and eat some BBQ. Just get in touch with me on here and make sure I'm home. Or MM has my numbers if you need.
Y'all have a good time at the expo.

There is going to be tons of racing going on at the Expo. There might be an entry fee at the door like most other Expos. We aren'y going to charge a dime at our booth to crawl...just donations

still planning on stopping in tomorrow. I'm going to be bringing both 1.9 and 2.2 but the 2.2 is only for show because I've not had time to finish it yet.

We had a good weekend. Surprisingly, we had a pretty good turnout. All the kids loved driving the Axial RTR that was graciously given to us by Axial.

Here are some pics

Great pics! That camera almost makes my truck look shinny. Thanks to Axial for the RTR truck. The demo truck was a hit and I can see a few Axial RTR under some Christmas trees soon.

Great job on the Expo Jason!

Hey guys,
I wanted to say thanks for all of the effort that everyone put in for the Southern Nats.I spent 11 months preparing for this event and it was nice to see how much you guys put in to this. The crawling booth looked AWESOME!! Ya'll need to send some pics to Axial (Attn. Vanessa Taw) and let them know what a hit it was. I had alot of people tell me how cool the crawling booth was. Again,GREAT JOB!!!!
I have already booked the Ike Hamilton Arena for next year. The dates are Sept. 9-11,2011.

Feel free to plan some sort of Comp if you guys want to. Ill be in touch.
Peace,
J.Correro

PS. The pic of Corky helping the kid is awesome. Thats what this event was all about!!
