| Maine Crawl/Trail Fun Run
Well not much goes on here in Maine for events. Thinking of trying to get a bunch of us together sometime this upcoming spring/summer for a Crawl/Trail Run here in Maine. I tried to run a bash a few years ago but there was no interest due to the fact all of the forums I was posting in members are so far away from Maine. I see theres some members here in Maine on this forum and decided I'd try this again. Theres a great Park called, ''Smalls Falls'' located on the way to Rangely http://www.newenglandwaterfalls.com/...e=Smalls+Falls Great walking trails with plenty of roots, rocks and other natural terrain to concur. Not only that but rest rooms, BBQ pits, swimming hole and all nature has to offer. Lets see if we can get some interest and get a date set for us Mainaha's and anyone else that wants to make the trip. Due to it being a State run and owned park I think we should only be running Electrics. So if this sounds like a good time post you're interest and lets get this thing going on zueslilbuddy Larry:-P |

| DATE SET Well not much goes on here in Maine for events. Thinking of trying to get a bunch of us together June 27/28 for the first annual ''Smalls Falls Crawl/Trail Fun Run'' here in Maine. Theres a great Park, called, Smalls Falls located on RT4 in Madrid, on the way to Rangely Maine. http://www.newenglandwaterfalls.com/...e=Smalls+Falls Great walking trails with plenty of roots, rocks and other natural terrain to concur. Not only that but rest rooms, BBQ pits, swimming holes and all nature has to offer. Lets see if we can get some interest and get us Mainaha's and anyone else that wants to make the trip together for some fun. Charging will be done from our car/truck batteries so be aware there is no A/C access. Due to it being a State run and owned park there will only be Electrics running. Don't want to be shut down by local authorities for noise. So if this sounds like a good time you're welcome to come, and its free. Lets get this thing going on. zueslilbuddy |

Drove by Smalls Falls yesterday on my way to Saddleback Mtn. That 6' high snow bank blocking the entrance now should be gone by the end of June. Smalls Falls is a great spot. Also heard there is another set of falls further back in the woods. All I've got to run now is the old nylint, but that may change by June. |

Time is coming closer. Around 10 crawler freaks are coming so far from Maine, few of the surrounding states, and 1 from Canada. Proves to be a great time for all, with all the event location has to offer, BBQ pits, handicap friendly bathrooms, swimming hole, great stream for fishing, awesome walking/crawling trails, and one of the most spectacular water falls in the state. Many lodging options in the surround areas also, or can pop a tent on my front lawn if you choose to. Hope to see even more confirm they will be coming. |

Aww, I am helping my brother move that weekend. And I am still on the shelf... I have been doing a bit of work to my rig, trying to finish up a few odds and ends and get everything right before I even drive it. I still need a few things, ESC, batteries, and a charger would have me going, but there are a few other things on my wish list like adjustable motor mounts and smaller pinions, I am building a 2.2 based on a clod, but I think I can make do with stock for now. Let me know if any of you guys here in maine have some of these items for sale, lets make a deal....
