Just moved up from the armpit of Mass to Monmouth ME. A little bit north of Lewiston. West of Augusta. Looks to be some pretty rocky terrain around here, the shores are particularly inviting. Hope to be crawlin soon!

I'm in the Lewiston area, i'm almost done converting a clod to a super crawler. I can't wait to try it out, I would like to get crawling soon. Im using bender custom chassis, homemade links, clod axles, savage shocks, rooster ESC. |

Currently working on a Twin Force, trying to figure out which direction I want to go with it... but hopefully 2.2, but not a true "crawler", more of a scale racer/basher rig. I have a place in Holden (East of Bangor, just outside of Brewer). My 'rents are in Hartland on Moose Pond, my father owns a gravel pit in Palmyra (hillclimbs, rockpiles, large flat sand areas... you name it). I know some folks in this area w/ R/C's, and have a friend with a REVO and a T-Maxx, so if and when time allows, maybe we could get together at my father's pit for some bashing. -Matt |

"Great Moose Lake" is "Moose Pond" to us locals. My parents place is on Cianchette Road, Hartland side. Where is yours, Ferry, Commodore E/W, or Great Moose Drive? There's certainly some neat terrain around here, and as I mentioned, my father owns a gravel pit just a few miles away from the lake, so there's some great rock piles and sand hills for climbing. I sold the Twin Force, and am looking for a good deal on an AX10. Waiting for the SCX10 also... I'm really loving the scale products, and can't wait to piece something together myself. I'm kind of partial to a 2.2 scaler or maybe something with paddle tires for the gravel pit... However, it all might get put on hold, as I'm leaving for New Mexico early next week for the Border Patrol Academy! Probably lots of good terrain there, too, and most likely more enthusiasts... not sure how much free time I will have though. -Matt |

Hey you guys from the lewiston/auburn area, are there any cool local crawling spots in the area that you guys know of? The falls on the river in the middle of town look pretty cool, can you crawl there?

WOW more Maine'rs than I figured too bad we are all so spread out. I live in Farmington got my scaler/crawler all most done We should plan a big crawl bash for next spring/summer. I'll start a thread see if we can get some interest and start looking around for a location. Tried to host a bash 2 summers ago but the forums I was going to had no one in Maine or surrounding areas:-( |
