I would say its about the same. I do have reverse turn down a lot in my esc.
How does it run in reverse? Does it do the same or is it smoother?
Earlier in the week I switched the tires back to the stock Falkens. With C.I. 5.5" Standard Medium foams. Seems to help with the traction rolling. So I took the Yeti out this afternoon out back to the stream. Too many bugs back out there so it was short lived. While I was out I got tired of the Yeti traction rolling. I've battled with this since the build up. Tried different setups. So I tore the rear end apart. Put a Hot Racing locker in, made rear upper links. Reassembling the Yeti I figured I would change the upper and lower link mounting to the exact opposite as it was. Angled the lowers, flipped the upper mounts. I also flipped the axle side mounts so they face "down" lowering the rear. Waiting for the truck to dry to test out the differences. It's all waterproof, but when I took it out it was acting weird. So rather than fry something, I just set it to dry. Last edited by robertjpjr; 06-13-2015 at 07:37 PM. |

I was kind of bummed that I spent $75 for 4 Hot Racing lockers and I still have rotation between the tires. I need to replace the axles themselves. The ends that fit into the HR lockers have worn slightly. Also... The pins at the wheel hex are worn too. Causing a slight rotation as well. So all of the rotation adds up. Perhaps I'm just being too picky.. |

Got time to work on the tundra today. There's a few things I might change, but it's a start.

Got some goodies. Vanquish wraith cvds for the front axle. Seem to live up to their name at first glance. Paired with hot racing lockers, there is very little slop now. Got new vanquish slw hubs for the yeti to fix some offset issues. Waiting on my order of 4 40 screws now. Also got a new bumper for the scx while I was at it. Better approach angles and not as wide so the tires don't rub. |

The AE-2 in the Wraith kept going back to the Lipo setting for some reason. I got fed up with it, ripped it out, and took the AE-5 out of the Deadbolt and stuck it in the Wraith instead. I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep the Deadbolt or not. I kinda sorta maybe don't really think I need 5 crawlers..... But then again....... |

Well I tried changing the sensor wire. no difference. So I decided to jump into replacing the sensor board myself. From the stuff ive seen on youtube its rather easy. So I spent a good while looking for the replacement part. Must be a hot commodity. I think I got the last one in north America. Should be here in a week or so. I hope. If this doesn't fix it...well shelf queen it is I guess.

Does this count? I'm still waiting for screws for my slw hubs for the yeti. In the meantime I gave the Rustler a good flogging. A few speed runs, top speed of 48 with 12/58 gearing on 3s. |

I threw the mad beast's on the deadbolt and took it out on the rock pile at my house, I've gotta say im pretty impressed with them. They were climbing some lines that the rock beasts won't. Might need to step up to stiffer foams, they are extremely soft. They are really tall too, almost the same size as my tsl boggers. Cant wait to get them out on a run!!
