So, I finished up the King Hauler-to-crawler body transformation last night.
The primer was supposed to be green, but it looks more grey than anything.
I think it came out slightly less than horrible!!
I had first thought about calling it "King Crawler", but I believe "The Turd" will work for now.

I also finished my ramps up with a coat of rubberized undercoating(which may never fully dry, with all this humidity...) for a little added traction.
I strapped them on the Turd bed, but I'm not sure if I like them on there...

I REALLY need to get out and crawl!!!!!

I think you should ditch the sliders. IMO it would look better. I like the body and bed though!

Havent done much with the 2 builds I have going. Got too wrapped up in the Summit. Need to get it out there and try it out. New motor and esc. Yeti Xl tires. Snapped the drive shaft on 2s. Think it was weak to begin with. Good think I have a spare!

Noticed a gap for a valve stem in the bead lock ring, so I made one

Looks like the summit may need a new trans. Making a nice grinding noise. The spur makes a full revolution and a 1/4 before it turns the tires now. Yet another money pit lol

the internals shouldn't be that bad to replace. Probably just needs a new idler gear.
This is a link to a complete transmission, but has all the part numbers for all the gears individually so you can buy them by part number off ebay or wherever.

No. You use all the stuff from your stock axles, you will need the servo plate ssd sells the stock plate won't fit.

I would much rather have gone crawling with you guys today, than to put all new bearings & shims in a 1:1 scale crawler....
