I put overdrive and underdrive gears in the beater just to see how much better it crawled and was very impressed. Then put a cut on the iroks for better bite. Works really good but need a little stiffer foams. Can't wait to try it out at maidens!!

Was going to buy links for the tundra, but I think im going to try and make some from 3/16" steel rod. Should give me some good weight down low.

They're actually Gearhead- http://www.gearheadrc.com/155wheels.htm I didn't see them in 1.9 but they seem pretty cool (I haven't run them yet) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkm Last edited by skybolt; 10-07-2015 at 08:40 PM. |

Ok thanks. The gcm ones are beadlock and I'm really looking for beadlock a for ease of changing tires or foams. Either way those wheels look sweet! Ben |

So, I've been dubbing with the Mistress this week. I started with removing a 12.9oz. ballast weight from the rear, relocating the battery, ESC, and Rx for better weight distribution and center of gravity. I used an Axial Rx box that I cut down as a base for the battery tray. While removing the light bar from the roof I noticed that the Honcho rear cage had ripped out one of the mounting holes in the back of the cab. So I dug out the bed and patched up the torn bed corner and reinstalled the bed in place of the cage. Then I transferred a few of the scale items into the bed, though I think the cooler may be slightly vulnerable..... Next up is mounting the winch without the added weight of the steel bumper. I'll keep you posted. Last edited by Full Throttle Rob; 10-10-2015 at 05:45 PM. |

It's not hard, I get them from the DMV website and shrink them to proportion. What plate type(breast cancer, custom, antique etc.) and what do you want it to say? Back to my progress, I found another #2 cross member and put it where the #1 cross member goes and cut the mounting posts off them. Drilled some holes and mounted the winch. Now I'm ready for a touch-free run on the north end of Reid SOON!!!!! Last edited by Full Throttle Rob; 10-10-2015 at 08:44 PM. | |
