So, the new crawler came on Monday!
I named her Marion after my grandmother who passed away on 12/13/14.
She's a sexy lady, especially with all of the accessories I added to her!

I started making my own control arms from 6-32 allthread and 1/4" x .049" thick aluminum tubing, with new end links for Marion today.
I got one pair made in between naps. Hahaha
Marion's winch and wireless controller is due to arrive tomorrow!

Changed out my wheels and tires. had to replace a couple rod ends and upper 3 link mount on the front axl. Really like the new wheels and the MT Baja claws. Did change out the rear shocks. No more street rod look.

Got the new servo for the Wraith in and took it on a small trail run. Gobs of torque. I'm curious to see how it handles the rocks at Reid. Its night and day compared to my old worn out cheapy servo.
Got the Holmeshobbies servo.
Holmes Hobbies LLC
Loving it so far.

I will back in business this weekend. I will add some pictures Thursday or Friday. I will travel down a few times a summer and crawl around. I have an scx10, and a Wroncho that is under construction as we speak.

Went for a quick run around town with a buddy. Walked about half a mile, got to our intended start spot. Broke in the first 50'
Bouncing on railroad ties in 10° weather broke the knuckle.

So, after breaking one of Marion's end links on her maiden voyage, I ordered some RC4WD aluminum end links for an 8-32 thread and built new control arms for them.
I also bought RC4WD Superlift 100mm shocks.
Now she's really got flex appeal!
Plus I used the Tower Hobbies E-cash I earned to get RC4WD 35T, 45T, & 55T motors for FREE!

It's really odd, Jeff, that after my "part 2" thread was read by a moderator, ALL of my posts that needed moderator approval suddenly appeared.......
Can't figure that one out.....

It's not hard. We can't see everything, then someone posts something that catches our attention then we see things.

It's also something that is very easy to find as to why your posts still need approval.

Hey! A moderator in Maine, I don't think I've ever seen that before. If you ever get up our way outside the internet we'll take you out crawling.

I have my scx10. I am in the middle of putting the grease to it. I will post some pictures soon. I have to un-mirror the trans. My sensor wire rubs on my battery with the "Howard battery plate" Other than that its pretty nice truck.
